Porsche 924 | I Was Just Going To Change The Clutch

New bearing shells are going in the 2.0 Porsche engine.

I know this is not a “prober job” the right thing would be a total strip and clean… but this is my way! 🙂

Hi, we’ve been off this week and the weather has been foul. So, we’ve been watching your videos. Thank you for making them, they are brilliant. Your enthusiasm for cars is just wonderful. Your luck with some of them (the A112) would break most people, but you just keep going.

You’re a YouTube treasure.

really like the chanel, but would suggest to invest in a power ( battery ) ratchet… spare you hands as much as you can (health in general)

Nice one mate. I know you are going to have this one for a long time to come. So might as well make it one of the best.

It was done proper, when they change the bearings on the cars that need it as a part of regular maintenance they do it the same, sometimes even without removing the crank. I think they slide the new ones in?

At this stage I'd have to pull the head off and clean up.the valves, pull the pistons out, hone the bores and fit new piston rings. Do it once, do it right. Anyway, watching with interest and hope all goes well.

Nice, you keep it simple. Hope the engine will run as a new one!

I did it not because it was easy but because I thought it would be easy
