Hi! I've got cayman as well, and I have little problem, need your advice, my tachometer is bouncing when I start a warm car and when tank is not 100% full. Do you know what to do with it? Attaching a video (its on russian though) https://youtu.be/ttXgGtXTOiA
Can you do a video of you replacing that rear part for the tensioner pulley you didn’t have time for? Thanks! subbed
Thank you!! I replaced the roller upper and the serpentine belt and I have never driven such a quiet car. I’ve had my CS for five years and it’s always had some kind of engine rattle. Replacing this roller it’s like driving a different vehicle. It cost me approximately $150, part of that was a 24 mm socket that I did not have and a breaker bar that I did not have either. The serpentine belt was approximately $40 and the roller bearing approximately $65. Just out of curiosity I called my local Porsche dealer and ask them what that would cost to have done and they told me it would be $1380.79. All in all it took me probably no more than one hour to complete. Your video saved me over $1,200.00.
Awesome walk through THX!!!
Keep the vids coming fella , good job, looking at at buying a mint 06 cayman myself as I am an old 57 year old which has been a dream for a while now.
Must get the the flat cap and the tweed jacket….nooooot
Cheers
Steve
Love your videos mate. It’d be great to see how to do an engine coolant flush and change. Also a air con recharge. But still keep up the great work.
Your awesome man all your vids have save me over a thousand bucks here in Australia, Porsche servicing is robbery
Just subbed from strads channel! Can’t wait to see the Cayman upgrades!
Exhaust exhaust exhaust… Come on Clayton we want exhaust
I have yet to see anyone touch the third brake light on a cayman, any chance we might see that at some point?
did you replace the steering wheel yourself or did you buy it like that? I'm pretty sure thats a 981 steering wheel
