If you use Pagid discs, Akebono ceramic pads, Pagid sensors, you can get a $400 set of brakes on these on RockAuto. If it was someone elses money and I needed zero tolerance on returns and problems sure Zimmerman but I've been using Pagid for every make/model of eurotrash and some of them are superior (Mercedes application) to the OEM disc/Zimmerman discs.

The bushing deflection on the stock 996 is pretty bad if they're over 100k miles even if they're intact with no cracking. The RSS/Tarrett upgrades absolutely turn the car up big time.
