Oblivion says:

This guy is an asshole to the owner. Piece of shit is making the owner
defend himself.

EqualsThreeable says:

Obviously this car needs way more attention. You can easily save that
paintjob, treating the rust, small dings and really bringing back the
chrome will take far more work than what this guy did. I would’ve never
steam cleaned the car, the rubbing on the paint with dirt leaves tiny
scratches, I know he mentioned those, but why not replace the seals and
just clean it properly. I get it’s a 912, it’s a good find, I certainly
would love it, but take time. Last thing I would’ve worried about was tire
shine, properly cleaned wheels need to be removed from the car.

This is a BASIC, very BASIC “restoration” tons more needs to be addressed,
I wouldn’t have wasted this car on a basic restoration tutorial.

ShawJohn31 says:

Larry,
I think your paint meter is giving you readings micrometers or something,
not millimeters (mills)

You’re reading 4000…

0.001mm = 1 microns (1 micrometers) = 0.00039″ (~4 ten-thousandth”)

No way in a million years that paint on the porsche roof is 4mm thick.
0.4mm more like.

420Honey says:

Holy negative guy…. “The seal is shot, theres fur on the car, the door
sticks a bit…” whatever go back to the showroom.

Naruto Uzumaki says:

Lol barn finds forza horizon

Sincere Echevarria says:

I still don’t understand why he didn’t just hose down the car. What does he
mean he didn’t want to get any water in the car?…

Morgan Price says:

Is there any other shows like this? I love this guy who does Drive Clean, a
great voice and keeps me interested all the way through the episodes. I
want to see more programs similar to this, does anyone recommend any other
restoration videos/channels?

nle46touring says:

Rupes to the rescue 🙂 ..nice video! hopefully more will follow

David Sipho says:

he seems angry every question roger asks .. he need to smoke weed

brad ley says:

i was kind of expecting some attention to the engine or other mechanical
parts… they literally just polished the car O_o

700stuartwarren says:

I hate American cunt scum. Why wear your sunglasses all the time it’s
bloody rude cunt.

EpochOfReason1 says:

For a car in that state, you’d be better off removing the wheels and a lot
of the trim and clean them all separately. Gives you a chance to get under
the car and clean in properly.

MrMagee78 says:

So nice to see a professional at work .. so many butchers in the automotive
business these days.

Luis Guevara says:

awesome vid : )

ownthemoment says:

anyone who talks shit on larry is an idiot.

George M says:

Maybe he should take his sun glasses of he might really SEE better what an
ass

BillyandJostvshows says:

ever since I found Larry’s vids, my car has never looked better. And as far
as people saying he does this or that wrong, if he didn’t know what he was
doing, would he be trusted to touch a $2,000,000 Ferrari? Or that 1 of 143
AMG CLK63? Think I’ll listen to Larry, and not some youtube keyboard
commandos.

João Soares says:

Larry, I would have liked to see the polishing phase after the
compounding… Did you use sealant + wax or just sealant?

Taz1451 says:

That guy who opened the garage is annoying.Sounds like he’s trying to sell
the car to us

Justin Kubicek says:

Wow! This video is a piece of inspiration. Clearly demonstrates true
passion and the human element in alignment and the synergies that transpire
from that. It doesn’t matter if you’re washing cars or the CEO of a
Fortune 500, both are just as respectable. If only we all took to what we
truly love to do and pushed to perfect it. Would love for you to share
more of your personal and professional story!

Ed Fan says:

please rename this video to clean and detail a barn find, not a fckin
restoration.

Boodieman72 says:

Need a “better” steamer if you want to wash cars with it, that way it
doesn’t take forever.

drdj69 says:

what can i say. this is just Beautiful.

Ranj Dhillon says:

Blows steam on it the rubs it. am i the only one here thinking that hes
damaging the paint more? could have blowed the car with air first atleast

Kyle Moss says:

Why are there so many keyboard warriors commenting on this video. Larry is
a brilliant detailer who works on several million dollar cars, with many
repeat customers, a global fan base, his own product line, and several
million views on his youtube account.
If you can do a better job. Prove it.
A car is only original once. The more careful the better.

Tommy Jakks says:

at first i thought the tags said “1 BALLER” haha

Hamster RU says:

this ammonyc guy is such a fucking toolbag

CarMag01 says:

CAR BARN FIND: 1966 PORSCHE 912!

Thank you very much! We really enjoyed this episode!

zeepcast zuid holland says:

just give it a repaint. almost no 911s or 912s have original paint. because
it looks like shit after a while.

christian white says:

Green always looks good on antique euro cars!

Marcos Diaz says:

that interior condition/quality is porn

Ed Fan says:

“larry, what are we going to do with the tires?”
Well, buy new one you moron.

Cebastien Larochelle says:

The paint is awsome its soo clean the car is amasing!!

Seth Fogle says:

This is a great video. This detail guy is ridiculously good. Sooooo
detailed with his explanations.

Ed Fan says:

take a hose and hoe that fckin car for god’s sake. Putting tape on it just
scratches the car more.

douchechillum says:

Best color combo they offered, I’d absolutely love to call that 912 my own.

Jonas Moberg says:

Great job you’re doing, this is love!

Ben Seidl says:

Larry is the best on the net. Absolute joy to watch him do anything to a
car. I love the passion, the knowledge and the joy. I get wicked stoked
just watching him, I want to go clean my car.

John Jones says:

I wouldn’t do more than 40mph with those tyres, after all those years they
are not safe…

RiSkyyMinD6 says:

wat a dumb ass dats probably 50 years of dust he just washed off that he
just destroyed the true value

Robert Bowling says:

Yo asswipes in the comments, who do you think knows more a pro detailer who
works on million dollar cars and whos whole philosophy is to clean and
protect paint, or some non pro detailer commenting on a yt vid. He knows
what hes doing.

Sonny Fish says:

I would change the seams then you could of washed the car. I know
collectors like everything original on classics but come on how many
classic cars have original brake pads? None? You have to change some parts
to keep the car practical even though it is a classic in my opinion 🙂 lol.

amstramgra m says:

nice car ,it’s a luck to find a car in this condition, but it’s a car
washing video not a restoration

tdksparda says:

how many micro fiber clothes do you go through on a normal clean of a
regular car? Wouldnt it get expensive?
