Can you put the key in a Low Power state? My Toyota key is able to be placed in low power by holding Lock and pressing Open twice.
Thank you very much, extremely helpful! One thing to make sure of is to place the round battery cover in the correct orientation after replacing the battery. This round cover fits in 2 orientations and one of them doesn't allow the key to be inserted back into its sleeve again when the sides are attached, which means you have to open up the key again.

Excellent ! A great help. I was surprised that I went for service to Porsche, the low battery is indicated in the dashboard, though nothing was said or changed. Great cars, very poor service (and not only because of this battery).
