Funny you make this video. Last week I got my rear handed to me over a brand new gm crank sensor that was replaced because of being unsure of quality of the one that was Installed by engine builder.
Yeah, the Chinese sometimes do this intentionally, and sell it for dirt cheap, to be marked up by parts suppliers here in the USA. It'll mostly work till it doesn't, and then you'll buy another one from them, because they're the only ones that make the parts.

Is it the shaft or is it the mount that the pulley mounts on? Shaft, no bueno. Return/replace. The mount could be fixed pretty easily on a lathe.

I work at a drive shaft company I can't believe the junk we ship out all the parts the yolks and the u joints all from China
Let me guess Made in China we really need to bring back building our own parts to quality standards like the good old days
