Dude.. what they said! LoL… But seriously, man… I’ve been turning wrenches for over 25 yrs…. until I was hit by a drunk driver 6 yrs ago. Holy cats! I’ve never had any need to be under the hood of one of these messes… until today. I was like.. wtf?? where the heck are the blasted plugs?? ( oh.. for the good ‘ol days of points/cap/condensor! and carbs! 🙂 ) Thanks for merely showing me where the idiot things were! You rock!

Bondo says:

You do NOT! use anti seize on any NGK spark plug. Google tb-0630111antisieze.pdf

Dude… what larrybear1959 said lol. Good info.

Thanks, shooter.
I replaced my plugs.

larrybear1959 says:

you could use a flat blade scew driver and lift the tab up a little to remove plug !!!

Thanks for the video. I couldn’t find the plugs and wondered if they were under that cover. Also, it looks like you could use a small screw driver to pry up on those clips preventing the spark plug wires from coming off.

When we first purchase our Vehicle I immediately gave it an entire tune up including spark plugs on 03/11 and just recently I went to inspect the and the tip of the spark plugs were almost completely gone, why is that???

Taxminia0311 says:

Josh, my recent spark plugs had the same exact situation as you, the tips were worn down I just don’t understand how that could’ve occurred when I’m alwayssss on top the care of the car since my wife and I purchased from a Buick dealer, we have a 2003 Toyota Matrix Xr fwd Automatic

Olivier Verstraeten says:

Hey ! which type of permatex anti seize do I have to use for NGK iridium spark plugs ?

spartacusbill says:

Your mechanic school likes using Permatex stuff? Or a highschool? No torque wrench for the spark plugs going into an aluminum head? And what’s with the shooting, I don’t want a mechanic to fill my car full of holes if something goes wrong… Good vid though
