This is a great video! I tried changing my brakes yesterday and it helped a lot. However, I ran into a problem, my brake caliper would not compress all the way I have 6/16 of an inch that won’t compress. Any suggestions?

No bleeding is not necessary, and thanks for the torque specs they sound pretty close. Are you sure the wheels are 76, and not 85?

Great videos, i’m doing this tomorrow. It should be noted, though, to be sure not to let the caliper hang by the brake line. Also, a big pair of channel locks can be used instead of a C clamp.

If using a torque wrench, caliper to bracket is 25 ft-lbs, bracket to knuckle is 79 ft-lbs and lug nuts are 76 ft-lbs.

Is bleeding not necessary?
