It looks like a harbor freight nibbler would work pretty good to cut that out with. Do you have at least a quarter inch clearance before you hit anything under the sheet metal?

U got part numbers for the pump and accessories the pump came with for the swap?
Is there a hose in the tank that needs attached to the pump for a crossover or anything?
