This is my current system, I use to have the sound ordnance b24s and they were good but they took to much of my trunk space. So I designed a new setup in a w…

Mr Plausible says:

Hey Bro im trying right now to put in a whole new sound system in my car. i
got the 06 g6 and i have bought 2 12 pioneer champion serise and im getting
a whole new speaker system and those will be pioneer also. my whole
questioning is the head unit. can you send me the info on what all you
bought for your system? im new to this stuff and best buy dosent want to
seem to help.

Roberto Rios says:

no man its not a shallow box i made it myself where it would feel purfect
in my trunk and still give the sub enough airspace to hit.

D Woodyard says:

Yeah I watched it. Seems cool do you think if I took it to an install shop
they would know how to wire the strength of the LEDs to the output of the
amp like u said? Or would I need to do it myself because I need my whole
system donr

samt6670 says:

I connect mine to the amp too but they are way to dim. How many led strips
are under each seat.

mocagoddess924 says:

DAMN that shit look nice.

Docprepper says:

so can u make it to where the leds do not turn on… so if i didnt want em
to pulse with the stereo one day, can i toggle the on/off of it?

Roberto Rios says:

Appreciate that amstaffmike80!

amstaffmike80 says:

Big UPs on that install bro!

D Woodyard says:

Hey man can you explain to me again how u wired it so the brightness was
equal to the volume?

Roberto Rios says:

yes you can just tap the switch into the positive wire from the LEDs. I had
it like that, but just decided to make a switch to either turn the lights
on or off. Checkout my update so you can see switch.

Roberto Rios says:

I had mine wired to my amp, so they wouldn’t pulse until I had it to a
certain volume. Basically the louder you have it, the brighter they will
pulse. You can wire them to a switch if you’d like, you can check out my
other video that shows mine.

The1shadows says:

really good job on all that stuff man! have u been able to keep your trunk
from rattling. and where did you relocate your drivers information center?
i have the same year g6. just put in a deck with the metra dash kit.
powered the door and deck speakers too! how did u get your box out of the
way of your tire? is it just a shallow box?

MrAbdulah1988 says:

thats dope

Roberto Rios says:

It’s very simple man, take your positive and negative wires from the LEDs
and wire them to the speaker outputs of your amp. If you just want them to
pulse with the bass set your low pass filter on the amp. I installed
everything myself, so if you have any questions just ask.

D Woodyard says:

Where u get those leds brah whats the name lol

Roberto Rios says:

@Zachwood93able a pair of LEDs ran me about $20 if that’s what your talking
about.

jamison bettis says:

Dis shit go hard Af

zachwood93able says:

How much $ did that cost to get done?

D Woodyard says:

Iight can u cut them off when u want

Roberto Rios says:

one strip under each seat

D Woodyard says:

Lol and yea I’m copying your setup exactly even the RED leds

D Woodyard says:

check mine out brah i finally finished it

Roberto Rios says:

I have one under each seat and one under both sides of front. They
shouldn’t be dim unless your volume is low.

Roberto Rios says:

I got them from AutoZone, they’re about $20 for a pair of 12 inch strips.
The brand is Alpena, they come with double sided tape, but I just super
glued them instead.

Roberto Rios says:

Were you able to figure it out? If not send me your number and I’ll text
you how to.
