@bjkitrel glade i coulld help thanks for watching 🙂
THANKS
@gwillakerz are u sure its not yr water pump squeeking is it chirping? but
no mine didnt make any noises after words. i beleive i replaced my belt
also abt a week before so it could be the belt. does the belt squill.
Thanks for the video. I am going to have to change mine tonight.
Great video man and very useful
@YeshuaisYahweh1 well hope this vid helps a little thanks for the positive
comment
Thanks for the vid, man! Just successfully replaced the tensioner assembly
on my Bonneville with the help of your video. Without it I probably
would’ve broken something, or left part of the coolant tube in the engine
(but I did manage to fish it out without losing it in the intake manifold).
Those bottom two bolts were a real bitch though, broke two sockets on them.
Great video bud. You like to make videos in the shit house lol
the tensioner arm was not workin it wouldnt come back up all the way. it
was movin up and down and causing the belt to jump. but thanks anyways man
nice work must have saved some cash doing yourself
the shitters the place to be
Very informative and resourcful bud!! Good job man!
What if your pulleys are not aligned? If they are misaligned how can you
tell?
Did the noise stop!? mine is new and squeeking , its been 2 days of
squeeking. just wondering how long it took. or if i need to tighten
somthin?
Hey were does the long bolt go on pulley mount
Good stuff..My son has a 97 and he had that part replaced earlier this year
along with the alternator..now its seems that the pulley is going bad..it
squeals after the engine warms up..i’m hoping it just needs some belt
dressing..
the belt should lay in the center of the tensioner pulley and flush between
the out edges of the bottom crank and power steering pump. u dont wanna
over lap the belt on the tensioner pully on the edges if you assmeble
correctly. when u start and all pullys are on correct when u turn engine on
it should place it self hope this made since. thanks for watching
stupid fkn design eh? run the coolant thru the tensioner mount, what a
joke, good video, thanks man…i gotta do one tomoro
WhT yr Bonney is this?
stupid question: what happens if you don’t disconnect battery when you
remove the alternator? Don’t really know.
awesome vid bud
