This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2005-2010 Pontiac G6. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.

1:54 when I apply torque my tie rod just spins. Why are you able to apply power tools to back it off.
Did you not have to put grease on the boot part where the cotter pin is at?
When working on the driver’s side turn your steering wheel all the way to the right and that will extend the inner tie rod out where it’s easier to reach and work on… do the opposite when working on the passenger side.
