Call me a nerd, but I love watching these videos. Informative yet
entertaining and straight forward. The internet is full of amazing free
material, and this is one perfect example. Even if I never actually do this
repair, at least now I know what it being done to my car and what to look
out for. Thanks!

gibby retamoza says:

Can this be done on a semi?

ss hog says:

if I watched all your video- can I be a certified tech? just send the
diploma to my email lol…. I liked how you explained all the steps and how
things may be diff for other cars too

Woodrow Yarbrough says:

Job well done Thank You.

Andrew Lopez says:

Did the replacement part come with the ABS wheel or did you reuse the
existing one…I got to replace my half shaft and I didn’t think about that
when ordering the part. :/

Anthony Ryan Merwin says:

If a guy was going to replace this part and the local shop also quoted
inner and outer tie rods for replacement, is it safe to assume that it
would be a good time to just do everything (CV shaft, I/O tie rods) as the
wheel/hub area will be semi-disassembled already?

YBlnx says:

does it need an alignment after?

pugzlie18 says:

If you don’t touch the tie rod then you shouldn’t have to get an alignment.
Also don’t use an air gun for the lugs to put the tire on that why you’re
missing two.

Gme1z says:

Damn, i need pontiac. No DAMN I NEED DRIVER’S LICENSE

Farkas Zsolt says:

ok so there is a way to do this without the need to get an alignment …
you can open up the screws on the bottom part of the hub and you lift and
pull up the hub with the suspension, little harder but saves you money 🙂
have done it several times and there was no alignment needed 🙂

Car and Driver Magazine says:

It’s a total piece of garbage. We tried to blow the motor but it just
wouldn’t go. The thing really would be scrap right now if I could find the
darn title. – Ben Wojdyla

ElGringo says:

This was the first significant repair I ever did. Very straight forward on
my first love, my crx

HtownRO says:

My Cv boot is torn on the passenger side. Not the driver side where the

Saturday Mechanic, Sunday Trackstar?

Chris07860 says:

I can respect that I mean in our automotive class we have cars that are in
the same condition as that one that go no where that we repair parts on as
a learning experience. These vids will help me out in my career as well.
From a technician in training over here I want to say keep up the good vids
Ben. -Chris

Edgardo Amado says:

Can u make a video on electric steering…. Is it possible to keep driving
a car without electric steering?

Car and Driver Magazine says:

If those checks are coming in, I’m the last to know. – Ben Wojdyla

Car and Driver Magazine says:

It really wasn’t too bad with this car. I guess I had a big enough lever. –

crazeguy26 says:

why you just did just take off the lower control ball joint nut tap it out
with the tie rod end and move the whole assembly as one I seen my father do
it that way and you don’t need a wheel alignment
