It’s hard to say for sure without seeing exactly what’s happening on your end. Once the fuel pump is towards the top of the tank if may be necessary for you to tilt it slightly to allow the sending unit to pass thru the top of the tank. For any further help on your specific situation, it might be best to call our free Tech Line (800-424-7839). They can walk you through some suggestions once they know the details. Thanks.
Im working on an 04 Bonneville GXP and cant seem to clear the pump through the top of tank. It looks like your just came out without much fuss. Am I missing something?
The E3518M is for Naturally Aspirated (non-supercharged) vehicles. The fuel pump you will need for your Supercharged application is the E3536M. Thanks for your interest in Airtex fuel pumps.
@AirtexFuelPumps im searching this part and found it for a fair price and was wondering if this exact fuel pump will work with my 2002 buick park avenue ultra w/supercharger.
just glad i don’t have to drop the tank
Thanks, this is exactly what i need to do to my 99 caddy
