In the parked position you could try to position them so that they are level at the bottom of the windshield. This may help.
My motor was recently replaced and now the wipers do not make a complete wipe of the windshield. The wiper stroke stops short on both sides by about 10 inches. Does the motor or transmission need to be adjusted? Any other ideas on this problem?
The issue could be the bushing in the linkage causing the chatter. Most likely the motor is fine if the passenger side is working correctly.
My problem is the driver’s side wiper does not wipe smoothly compared to the the passenger’s side. I changed the blade multiple times. I recoat the windshield. Do you think it’s the motor?
Parked position should be fine.
I the left arm in the parked position are does it suppose to be at an angle at park position.
If the rubber blade is coming out you may need a new blade, or if it extends over the edge of the windshield you may want to make sure you have the correct size blade on the vehicle.

You may want to inspect the motor to see if anything is wrong with it.
thanks for the video. my 1999 wiper was stop and start for the past few weeks. can it be a swish or you think its forsure the moter?

yeah acctually the wiper transmission link was so corroded that the wipers would stop.
The issue could be with the motor having a dead stop some place causing it to jerk into different positions or not move at all.
I did all of this but when i connected my wiper like tey just move for a little bit and then stop
You may want to check the connection to the wiper motor to see if it’s secure or if the wire could be frayed. It could also be the windshield wiper motor pulse board. If that has gone bad, we carry new ones on our website. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 Part Number: 1AWWM00053
You may want to see if you can slide the bolt out a certain way or you might have to remove the alternator bracket. We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this. I had to replace a alternator on a 04 venture..I got it all unbolted but there isnt enough space between the motor and the van to slide it out..Any ideas..? Thanks
I have a 03 venture, I’m having problems with the windshield wipers sometime getting stuck ,sometime recovery , how i can fix it.thx.
You could try a couple of simple things first like changing the blades if they are very old, or cleaning the outside of the windshield if there’s anything on it such as tree sap or anything that could slow the wipers down. If non of that works you may want to take a look at the wiper motor to see if it’s worn out. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day.

There could be moisture in one of the sensors.

Thank you so much I was changing my alternator and needed to find the tool to get the motor off now I know thank u so much.
This video as well as the one covering the turn signal replacement switch on the 98 venture were a godsend as I need to do both to my 98 transport. The haines manual was ok but the videos are so much clearer and helpful it makes doing the job fun as well as giving me a better idea of the complexity and time required to complete. I will have saved about $500.00 by doing the work myself. aftermarket and new parts cost in Canada are horrible vs USA

needed to do this replacement as well as the turn signal switch. Both videos were a godsend and will save me a bundle. In Canada re-placing these parts cost about $600. in parts plus about 2hrs. of labor@$70.00 per hr. I read the haines manual for these 2 jobs but the video is so much better and easier to follow.
