Hi do you have a video for replacing the tailgate handle and lock
mechanism???

1A Auto Parts says:

Hi Lawrence, We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this
particular repair. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we
need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

@masterbanks09 If the window is dry, try wetting it down with a hose and
then testing the wiper. It will also have a lot of drag if the wiper is
dried out and very old. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts says:

The issue might be with the wiper transmission.

Vita_Aeterna says:

Hell yeah, keep up the good work on your videos, helped me alot!

Hi, I just did this with my 2000 Jimmy. Only difference is my window also
opens so I had to move the power box for the window switch to get the motor
out. But the new motor is not working right. It moves slow and some times
stops in the up position.. Then if I shut it off and on it will go back to
the off position. Is it a defective motor ? I made sure nothing was too
tight or to lose. I don’t get it its almost like it lacks the power and
just dies out until I shut ignition off and on.

In my 2001 explorer sport when I turn on the rear wiper it doesn’t move but
I can hear the motor moving can you please let me know what might be the
problem

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the relay (if there’s one) to see if it starts to
heat up causing the wiper to stop.

RetroGam3Nerd says:

I thought of that too, but from looking at a wiring and fuse diagram I
don’t believe there is a relay for the motor, or at least I can’t find one.

Do you have any vids on disassembling a 2001 suburban liftgate & repairing
aluminum rust? Please Help!

RetroGam3Nerd says:

I just purchased a 2001 Venture. I replaced the rear motor because the
motor was shot. Here is my question. The switch has two positions downward
turns the wiper on and up position is like a momentary switch turns the
wiper on for a few seconds along with the sprayer. When you put the switch
in the down position the wiper operates for a few moments then goes off. If
you turn the switch off and back on it will operate again. Also I notice it
only has one speed. Is this correct?
