Received kit and installed it in less than an hour, which included getting all of the tools around. Had serious trouble cutting the motor out with a razor knife, but was able to cut out the entire motor except for one inch near the floorboard (no clearance) in about 90 seconds with a DREMEL tool fitted with a #106 carving bit. Similar ones would work fine too. I had the 8 screws lying around in my garage. The fan and motor work great. No more annoying noise! Thank 1A for the video and kit!

The video should show you where everything goes.

I’ve been watching your videos since they started but never patronized your business. This afternoon in the heat in the midwest my taillight came off the assembly! I’ve seen so many of your “how to replace taillight” videos that I went to 1A Auto to buy my taillight, thanks for your videos and I look forward to my easy install!

Informative video

tbskirk says:

Why doesn’t GM just bolt or screw the motors in, in the first place !
Anybody who has these cars will eventually have to replace the motor
anyway. Just doesn’t make sense to me..
