Finally got around to installing the lowering springs on my Vibe GT.
The springs installed were ST Suspension Techniques part #60492.
These springs are not made anymore for the Vibe or Matrix.

The advertised drop for the springs were 1.2″ front and back. The car dropped about 3/4″ in the front and 1″ in the rear probably because the front struts were bad so the front was lower then when it was new.

Good effort and good job showing us on how to. I’m a Diy kinda guy and this kinda video helps in some kinda way. Thanks for making this bro. Keep it up and make more videos. Btw, I have a 09 Toyota Matrix so it’s almost the same set-up with your Pontian Vibe.

Ужас. так нельзя ремонтировать.

I think the Tein S are the lowest lowering springs you can buy for the vibe. I have them on my GT and theres very little if any fender gap. Of course, my shocks and struts have 305k miles on them, 95% of their life being lowered. ;D Going to replace the shocks/struts in the spring. Thanks for the video.

ive done lowering springs and shocks on my current xrs and one that i owned five years back. both times i messed up the stab links just like you because i didnt lift up the struts. The matrix has taught me a lot about working on cars
