Do you not use ISO plugs in the States? The same radio would come with ISO sockets in Europe. Then we would buy an adapter from the manufacturers harness to ISO plugs, meaning the whole thing is plug and play. No stripping or crimping of wires required.
hahahahahtahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahaahahhhahahahahahahahhahahahahaahahah…………terrible one of the most important wires “the ground” he uses a wire nut never allowed in car installs. heh heh butt head….being a werewolf hurts my bones
Does anyone have any solutions for the 06 taurus aftermarket? I can’t seem to find compatible bezels than the factory one. I know there’s gotta be something somewhere for my stereo.
I installed a radio to my gf’s car, when i brought the cables together, i did them with black tape, the one that is very hard to come out.
My only concern is that ive seen some people using a lighter to heat up the tape after both cables are together, but i didnt do that at all. but i did made sure to tape them right, and put extra tape on them too.
I install a new cd player in my car everything works find except that when i turn the car off i have to reset everything the cd could be on track 3 and when i turn car off its starts on track. What could be the problem.
this radio is absolutely amazing even at twice the price….im using this on my boat and it works flawlessly!!! the remote works well and the sound is full!!
here is the link to it in case anyone isinterested:amzn.to12rlaeM
Did you connect the 12V red wire? The harness says its needed on the Grand am. Ive read on some places to connect to a fuse or a brown wire the leads to the ignition. Please help
the “remote” wire goes to a subwoofer amplifier and turns it on only when the car is on so it doesnt drain your battery. unless you have an amplifier, dont worry about the remote wire
Hi! I’m wondering, do I have to cut some wires from my new unit, it has already all wires connected, but do I have to ground it some how, and do I have to worry about the “Remote” wire or is it only for amp?
What harness are you using and where did you get it? I have a grand am 2004 but I cannot find a harness anywhere.

Shitty video. Barely got any instructions.
what the name of the reggae song ?? please
Butt connectors
What are those red things you used to connect the wires with?
Sounds like your constant power wire and ignition wire could be installed wrong. Or just a bad constant wire. Check all your wires
During the old school days…all you needed was a: Lighter, 9 volt battery, Light bulb. No diagrams or harnesses were needed w/ that method.
no shit, unless of course your car going up in flames is something you’re interested in
Nice video . Why did you not solder and heat shrink ? Also you can pick out any unused wires . But again nice video .
