I have watched this video a few times now trying to take notes and make
sense of this but you lost me at one point, you say keep the switch off,
and if you happen to get the security feature switch it off, start your car
and switch it on. Now here is what is racking my brain since I’m trying to
actually do this on an 01 and 03, If the switch is off to begin with, the
car is now ignition locked, you’re telling us to now switch something that
was already off, to off and somehow the car will now start at which point
you flip the switch on? What am I missing here please explain. And then do
you just leave the switch alone in the “on” position on a daily bases until
you unhook the battery and need to use the switch? At which point this
video applies? Please listen carefully to your video instructions and let

Turn key to start wait 10-15 minutes car will beep and turn the key to off.
Take the key out (if you don’t take the key out it will not work) about 5
seconds and re insert the key turn to start wait til the beeping stops and
then turn key to start. If your secruity is really bad it will shut your
car off while your driving. (Had a previous GT) got rid of it and bought
another GT thankfully this time my car has no problems. Got it with low
mileage and im the 2nd owner.
Wow I wouldn’t do that. Haven’t had that happen to my GT and if it did
theres a procedure that can be done. I have a 2003 Impala that had that
issue same way to disable secruity for GT

splice the wires? and douse it really matter if the switch is spst?

been on for a day
Hey what if u dont have the wires in a small pouch? And there all out, and
there is 2 yellow which do u cut?
