Good luck Darren.

Paula Guibord says:

Replaced it with my dad’s help today and it WORKED! My lowest and next
lowest are putting out the same heat – which hasn’t worked in over a year,
and now the 3rd highest setting works again, too. Great tip – thanks again
for sharing this video, it helped a lot!!! (That back bolt was a real pain
in the butt, just like you said, and it took us about 30 minutes to do the
whole thing.)

Darren Colton Tony Davis says:

Going to try to replace it tomorrow. Tx for making this video!!! I really
appreciate it! 🙂 Darren

Paula Guibord says:

I am having this problem right now and am going to try this asap! Thanks
much for sharing this – you ROCK!

Nice video. I’m having the same problem, so I’m going to replace this part
as well and hope it works! Thanks for taking the time to post!

Chris Myers says:

Thank you. Good luck the blower motor works on all speeds now. Hopefully it
will fix yours too.

Frank Petersen says:

SO HELPFULL! Thank you! A trace on the resistor had blown in the exact same
spot yours did. At 1:31 of your video, the board shows the open in the
lower right quadrant and two tiny bits of trace showing. I was able to tape
a wire across and solder it down to the tiny pads and whalla, Bob’s yur
Uncle. Blower works on all speeds now. The difficult screw took a few
quarter turns with the 5.5mm socket with a short ext on the ratchet and
then the socket alone with fingers removed it the rest.

Robby Staats says:

how did you get that back bolt off?? I can’t get to it for the life of me!

Chris Myers says:

I used a 1/4 inch drive ratchet and a 3inch extension. It was a bugger but
I finally got it! LOL
