A simple how to add a oil catch can to a LS1 equipped GM vehicle. Catch cans reduce the oil vapor out of the PCV system for manual disposal. This helps to keep the internals of the intake manifold and the intake ports in the heads cleaner as these places really shouldn’t be ‘oiled’.

Im rebyuilding my 1967 Pontiac 400 engine I see you can by a catch can on Amazon for like $30 think its a good idea. I am planning on installing a M/E Wagner PCV valve. Is both a good idea?

I'm curious to see the oil that's collected. I've thought about getting one for my 06. However they designed the pcv system into the valley cover. Eventually you would think it would need serviced. But from what I researched it dont.
