I have the ’09 model as well. Did you have to sqeeze and squish the filter a bit as the compartment was not square like the filter? The old filter was forced in as well and I want to make sure that I just don’t have the wrong filter.
Very helpful! 2009 model that I have does not require a screwdriver as it has a plastic clip to squeeze. The filter is also to the left side (closer to the radio console) behind the glove box, but still easily accessible. Thanks!
