I have a 95 grand prix. Does the same apply?

Hunglo90 says:

same process for a 2000 grand am?

Terry Grandchamps says:

I’m trying to change my transmission fluid and filter in my 3.4 alero will it be almost the same procedure.

spencerdasilva says:

While the car is running and level, If I’m not mistaken.

camopaint0707 says:

Do you have anymore write ups beside the oil change? Possibly a cam swap?

camopaint0707 says:

Is this the same procedure on a GTP?

Kinguto says:

I hear changing the transmission filter may cause a transmission to suffer problems if there hasnt been prior service to the transmission. I got a 2000 GTP and the shifts has hesitation, my friend told me i need to replace the filter, but i’m not sure if the previous owner has done it

This is really one of the best things about the internet. Able to watch a perfectly demonstrated tutorial on how to do something. Well done and thank you for the video!

Velly Hunter says:

htownlilmama24 says:

And also where do i put the transmission fluid to fill it up the tranny with oil

htownlilmama24 says:

Can u plz do a vidqeo on how to change out da spark plugs plz i tried it on my 06 grand prix but i was afraid i was gonna yank it out the wrong way…thanks

Robert Gary says:

You must have the dip stick. The GrandAm requires a drain fill plug be removed and you still until it overflows.

WackoEverywhere says:

I think you can get a universal drain bolt from pep boys maybe..I think I saw one before. You just drill a hole in the pan and install it.

Sockpuppetx says:

“And if you can’t just ‘push’ the filter in, just smack at it a bit so it learns it’s place.”
I kid, you’re doing what I can’t and I love GPs. Got a ’99 GTP that’s getting a new transmission in it because it slips like a mofo out of first into second. I don’t blame it, it’s got over 200k on the odo.

Peter Bruckner says:

realy cool… thx for the nice Video… i had to change oil and filter soon…

mynameiszachattack says:

Wow, very descriptive and up-close. I’m going to try it on my 98 gtp tmrw which i hope will rid my tranny issues. I feel pretty good about doing it by myself now. Thank you for a great tutorial for young bucks like me to learn from.
