aye, the transit can be tight also, aswell as the opel zafari diesel, need a wee bit of heat on them before trying to slaken, when they break in its a head off job.
I broke 2 of mine in ford ranger. Bloody head off ect
I agree with fox^ ,these can be whoors for breaking or tearing the threads out of the head, i reckon that leaky cam cover kept them well lubed.
