Peugeot citroen window door switch repair

Peugeot citroen window door switch repair

I have removed and dismantled my windows door switch on a peugeot 406. This is the same type of switch fitted to many other peugeots and Citroens and many other makes. Hopefully it will help to fix your window switch issues. The symptoms i had was the window switch would work intermittently, it would go down when it should have gone up and it sometimes would not go up at all, on some occasions. After a week of testing I can confirm, the switch now works as it should.

Really helpful video. Thanks for posting. The switch on my 307SW is a bit different but the principle is exactly the same. Opened it up and could see a very similar level of oxidation to yours in the video. Cleaned that off and it's working perfectly again. Thanks again.
