see the video “Peugeot 406 – Changing Rear Backplate and Wheel bearing”
you can see the adjuster when i remove the rear disk

Shiv t says:

what does the adjuster look like in the wheel?

Shiv t says:

adjuster inside the car?

peugeotCitroen2CV says:

There is an adjuster beside the handbrake cable on the left hand side, you can just about see the bolt if you push at the centre console around the handbrake and a 1/4 drive socket will fit in.
Also under the car in the middle around the back axle the handbrake cable branches off to go to each side, there is an adjuster there but it can be very rusty.
Also each wheel has an adjuster in it.

Thanks for that, ive just replaced my rear brake pads on my Peugeot with the valuable help of your tutorial. Called Kwik Fit yesterday and they wanted £107, no way i did it myself in two hours and £16.20 for the pads. i would have had all kinds of problems without this video, thanks again.
