I have replaced a indicator stalk on a mazda 121 with no air bag but never have fixed the stalk on a vehicle with a airbag
behind AC control have 3 lights that iluminate all pannel and can be break. U have to take out pannel and buy this lamps to change it. I bought in Brazil and its so cheap (like 50 cents per lamp)

Hey, thanks man, I removed the Airbag just as you said coz the fuse was fine, unplugged it, pressed the horn just to see what would happen, and it was working perfectly.
I’ve also realzed that my AC control panel do not light, wats up with that?
Mine stopped too.
Mine turned out to be the column switch wiring which also does the air bags.
A new switch is about £140 🙁
Check the fuse
Bridge 12 volts to the horn then start checking the column switch.

That was good news then.
My horn wasn’t working because the small wires under the air bag were broken. I put my old column switch back on but it doesn’t have a trip button.
I bought it from ebay years ago and it was the wrong one lol.
Still, it stopped the indicators over cancelling 🙂
Neither was wrong. Dont know what was wrong with it but when i got the airbag off and pushed the horns plastic around inside of the wheel either side it worked. I think the airbag was too tight and nothing was happening.But it works now anyway 🙂

Hi, sorry Grant, I’ve not had a look at the whole heater but have fixed many Ivecos and Fords.
Sounds like an internal problem.

Hi T9Hitman, from memory, the ABS sensors measure about 22k (22000 ohms) each.
If they all measure the same, check the air gaps.
My near side rear had got hot and the air gap had increased.
Believe it or not, a coffee stiring stick from the motorway ‘coffee nation’ is the right gap lol.
Trouble is, it’s now all costa coffee.

I fixed my 307 horn by filing the metal square holes and a bit of vaseline lol. Not had a heater problem yet. Abs fault is the new thing to fix. Sounds like a lot of common problems you probably go through a million light bulbs too
Hi can i pick your brains on the 307 heating system. Mine has developed a fault where the drivers side blows cold no matter what the heat is set to. I have replaced the cogs on the servos as i found out about that fault where they strip. The new fault is it blows cold until the engine has warmed up then if i put the blower on full, there is a loud clunk as a flap closes somewhere under the centre of the dash and it then it will blow warm. Any ideas of the fault or a fix. Hope you can help.

The trouble with the horn and air bag wiring is as follows :-
The air bag and horn both have a pair of wires running to them (air bag on Peugeot steering wheel has 2 pairs)
The wires are wound / wrapped many times inside the column switch.
As you turn the wheel, they wind up in one direction and un-wind in the other.
Over the years, they break.

Hi, disconnecting the battery for half an hour will do nothing more then having the battery disconnected for one second; oh and it will zero your clock.
The air bag ecu has 2 timing devices that measure the stopping force. Both have to trip to send 12 volts up to the bag. The connectors have contacts internally that SHORT OUT the air bag once disconnected.
Not just Peugeot but all makes.
The horn not working will probably be the column switch wiring and they cost £140 approx(Unless you’re lucky)
i would have thought you would have had to disconnect the battery for half hour to stop the airbag going off? no?
My horn doesnt work so need the airbag off to look at the connectors.

My camera wouldn’t fit under the dash to show location.
Peugeot sell a repair loom for about £50. You cut of the burnt plug and crimp on a new section.
I bought a resistor of ebay and a plug with a few inches of wire from a scrap yard.
I’m pleased the vid helped, I struggled for months with a dodgy heater (in winter driving to work lol)
The wire has burnt slightly so heater works sometimes so i wiggel wire under syeering wheel. that makes it work for a week or 2 then stops working again typical on a cold frosty morning when i got work lol. im glad i watched this vid or i would have ripped out the full dash..
thank you this video will help me sort my heater blower in the morning..
