@donyboy73 aye,i give it a clean sweep when things are quite,i try to keep
the work area safe and clean,busy there today,there all coming at the one
time,lol
i would not mix the oils, ok.just use the 5w30 for top up on the ford. and
the 10w40 for the peugeot.

I have a Peugeot partner.My wife has a ford focus diesel. I have one or two
5w30 containers with a litre and half litres left in them. I also have
10w40 containers with litres and half litres in them.I’m just wondering
about mixing them up and using in my Peugeot partner 1.9 diesel. There’s no
turbos or dpf’s in them just a regular straight 1.9diesel. Will it do any
harm to the engine mixing these oils been different viscosity and one been
semi syn and the other fully syn? van is 2006 with 100k
no not sure.
Do you have the remove the power steering pump to remove the alternator?
Also how do you slacken the belt>
take the altenator off from the bottom

wish you lived near me , you are a clever guy. I know who to ask now if I
have a problem with my berlingo. Great vids by the way.
slacken the belt from the bottom, remove the wee plastic cover on the
tensioner wheel, u will see a slot on the bar , and a allen type bolt.
slaken the allen bolt on the centre ot the wheel first then turn the allen
bolt ,anti clockwise to slacken the tension on the belt, thats the old 99,
00 model.
@davegalloway001 u can buy the brush box kit from a auto factors shop, it
all depends which altenator, is fitted to , model and year,look for the
plastic cover, with the 3 screws, bosch type, ok,easy to repair,
thanks, what part of the uk are ye from, been to london, manchester, leeds
,nothingham, and glaskow. liked neesdon, north london the best, great wee
pub there called; the three barells.;
Not even the Peugeot partner DW8 engine ? I would have thought a litre of
5w30 mixed with 3 litres of 10w40 in a partner engine would have been
harmless enough ?
