Worked fine for one fob but not the other, then realised one that didn't work was an aftermarket one, managed to get it working by following these steps for each button individually, starting from the top

I have a car key shop and I always face this problem. However, sometimes this problem cannot be solved and I do it, although it is the same frequency but it does not work. Why do you think that even with the original key it does not work, especially with the Peugeot 207 and Peugeot Partner? Help me.
i have just bought a 207, I found that the spare key wouldn't work, I tried this & it only sort of works, What i am now getting is the remote will lock/unlock doors but the key has to be no more than an inch away from the ignition switch or it wont work, also it won't start the car, I have fitted a new battery so that's not the problem, My other key works fine so it's not an issue with the receiver side of things, Any ideas please? TIA.

Hi, i have a 2014 partner van, just replaced the fob casing, and new battery, fob not working to lock or unlock, even after this procedure. funnily enough though, it will work with the old damaged body? scratching my head begins, lol, anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance
