When I bought my C1 the cord to lift the rear parcel shelf when you open the boot was missing. I just used a bit of paracord to replace it. Made a bulky knot in one end, threaded it through the hole in the parcel shelf from underneath until the knot stops it going further, then tie off around the small peg near the boot hinge on the inside. You need to experiment a bit to get the right length to the shelf lifts the right amount but once done it's done.
