Devin Anderson says:

Hey man thank you so much me and my boss were looking at this thing for at least an hour and got lost super fast fantastic video thanks so much

Philip Roll says:

Wow – an understandable explanation. Good Job! These days, typically "experts" explain things. The problem is that the "expert" is so engaged with the topic they cannot understand that the thing which they pass over because it is "obvious" is not obvious to most people. We used to have a profession called "technical writer" – I don't think they're around anymore. To bad.

Jamie Fry says:

Thank you very much. Your video was a big help. It's nice of you to pass on the info!

Robert Ashton says:

Could you post pictures of the step you made for between the seats. Thanks. Really enjoy your videos

Viko Viko says:

Man thanks so much for taking the effort to making and posting this video. The info you shared help me big time!!!!! Thanks again

Dave Bird says:

Thanks, Dave, for all your well-done and helpful videos. Here's a suggestion for a new one. I've had trouble with my battery running down while my 2019 Roadtrek Zion (built on a 2018 Promaster chassis) is in winter storage. Same problems you described here, flashing dash lights, engine won't start, key stuck in ignition. Sean at Roadtrek recommends disconnecting the battery if engine won't be started for two weeks or more. My Promaster has a quick disconnect on the negative side of the battery which requires no tools, just a gray plastic lever which you twist open to remove cable. Not sure yours has that (maybe a Roadtrek gizmo), but if not use a tool to remove negative cable. Only issues then will be that your Thule door step (if you have a Roadtrek) won't close without the battery, but not a big deal. You also won't be able to lock the passenger door using the key fob without the battery, but there is an easy manual method found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Hq4Dazcy3Y&t=102s that you could incorporate into your video. Good plan for long-term storage of a Promaster.

carl delfs says:

Hi Dave just wanted to say thanks for all your videos very helpful, I'm subscribed, and I click like on your videos. I think you have a 2500? On your headlight & battery replacement videos the procedures are the same thing for a 3500 too? Right? Thanks again very much for all your posts

Dean Jones says:

I had something happen kind of, dash lights on, and the engine didn't turn over. Not the battery wish it was. What happened was the dogs chased a cat up into the engine compartment. Then commence to chew through the wires in the wiring harness to get to him. As a result they chewed up 40 wires resulting in the need to replace the wiring harness and the wheel module. Which was damaged from towing the Promaster backwards onto the tow truck.
Cost over $2900 bucks. I'm in the process of putting some fencing under the engine compartment to keep this from happening again. Simple fix. Stupid cat. Dumb dogs. Cost of having a van that high off the ground. Pain in the a&$.

Sandylee Isme says:

Omg how could it be jump started?? Or trickle charged?

Michael Murphy says:

Thank you for having your wife video this instead of hand held solo. You both did a great job. Smiling all the way through, just as we will because now we know how to do it! God bless, stay safe! I only wonder why you didn't video putting the battery back in place? Even if it was hard to do, still would have liked to see it.

Mazilu Bogdan says:

Thank you very much, is soo clear. I have a question for you, please. Some cars need a reset to indicates to the car has a new battery. (Thats change the mode of how is charging the battery). For Peugeot Boxer year 2015, is need to do this reset or i can change the battery without this reset?

Thank you,

Martin Dehmel says:

If you connect a battery charger (engine compartment) first, then you won't loose any configuration (e.g. Radio). But pay atention to where you put those plus cables.

Roger Z says:

Great job! Coming up on 5 years on my original battery, so this is going to come in handy very soon. Thanks!

the p-dub express says:

Thanks, dude. I changed my battery, and it was easy thanks to your video.

Ron Cleminson says:

Thanks for this video Dave. I found it very interesting and informative, will now be proceeding with my battery change with a lot more confidence. I look forward to viewing the other videos on your channel. I completely understand that producing these videos does take a lot of work but rest assured they are appreciated. Once again, Thanks!

Jack Ripley says:

Good vid….

David Sager says:

Thanks for your help

F Wisniewski says:

Thank you, sir!

Wendy Byrne says:

Is there any chance you could do a video about how/where you run your cables from your cabin batteries to your engine battery? For instance, I know I need to connect my B2B charger to the positive side of my engine battery, and also the negative buss bar needs to be grounded to the van chassis, as does the inverter. Every wiring diagrams says these things, but I have a hard time finding a video showing how it is done. Your tutorials are so easy to follow and I was hoping you might already have done one such as I am requesting. thanks for reading!

Andrew Soldan says:

do you have to unlock the radio after this change?

Elaine Cleaver says:

I have a 2016 1500 Promaster. Is there any way to turn that scream off when you start the VAN. So annoying, hurts my ears.

Hezi Tenenboim says:

You can double the views for all your Promaster maintenance videos by adding "Citroen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer / Fiat Ducato" to your titles, for the sake of your European fans, like me. Love your channel!
