This might be a stupid question but does the key have a chip? I know nothing about these things and I'm currently in a similar situation situation. I don't have a key with a chip so I can it turn on the car. Any input on how I can go around having to purchase a key with a chip? Thanks in advance.
The key cylinder was only put on vehicle's to prevent car theft, which is a bad design that cost money when ignition switches give out you pay a heavy price out of pocket, but with a push start button or switch you'll never have any issues
Find the hot by touching it to a ground- some metal attached to the car, plenty in that area. The assesories has to be on, that's the first switch. You'll find that after you find the hot, poke around in the pigtail to find the starter and assesories. The starter should be on a push button and not a toggle though.

I have to bypass my ignition switch to move the car until i but the switch. Which wires did you connect with the switches ?
