Belt replacement on the 4.6 is pretty simple and easy. If there is a cover over the belt pully just remove it to get access to the tensioner , remove belt then loosen the one closest to the radiator and remove the other one
Tools needed a 10mm wrench and a 13mm wrench for the tensioner and a flat head screw driver to help guide belt around the water pump.
What a stupid design. Belt is very difficult to remove and later get back in place. Not to mention my 94 has different belt tensioner which costs 200. Fuck that.

This is the best video for doing this job that is out there. I sure do wish there were more vids like this one for the Northstar. I love my 01 Caddie Seville SLS, but I have the hardest time trying to find HELPFUL videos for fixing it.
