I had a 85 cutlass and had 150k on it and had it for 5 years in highschool I always wanted to rebuild the motor or put a 350 in it but the frame rotted out and sold it
I've tried blowing up one of these 307 Y 7a headed motors up by neutral dumping it at 6,500 rpm never did blow the motor but the metric 200 3 speed transmission is another story lol.
I’m sure the Oldsmobile 307 small block can make around 250 or more horsepower with new parts
