REPLACE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, GASOLINE IN ENGINE OIL, OLDSMOBILE LSS,1997, 3.8L

Oldsmobile has a problem with gas getting into the oil, and also stalling at stop signs. One possible cause is the fuel pressure regulator (FPR), where gas can go thru the vacuum line into the crankcase. So, we’re replacing the FPR in case that’s the problem.
Another possible cause of gas getting into the oil is a bad headgasket, which is an expensive an fix.
The problem of the engine stalling could be the FPR, or maybe the fuel filter or fuel pump. Hopefully, the new FPR will fix these problems and save having to do the more expensive solutions.
