There isn’t one on the radiator, it’s on the overflow tank

where is the radiator cap?

Joe's Small Engine Repair says:

Yeah they move, but they are problem plagued, between the head bolts pulling out, the waterpumps that always fail (special socket needed to replace), the starter motor located underneith the intake plenum. They are definitely not worth all of the hassle. Your better off with the Sebring 🙂

It was fun to drive, 250hp in a car this size was real nice. I don’t think I can deal with the problems they come with though.

moldymac says:

Not really, haven’t really messed with anything in a while.

The headliner on the sunroof was sagging on this one too.

The northstar has some decent power, you just have to keep an eye on that temp gauge, and the waterpumps suck!

Pretty nice vehicle. Do you still have the Riv?

I know my neighbors 1999 Grand Am had hers in the dash. My 02 Altima has it as well and I agree with you. I much prefer it in the steering column. You do get used to it, but still.

Anything new with TractorLand?

TheGrissomCat says:

gm started doing the console key on the grand am’s and malibus around this time still do it on the Malibu’s I believe. not a big fan of it because the key chain / fob rubs on you leg / knee when your driving

My parents had a 02 3.5 aurora in the same colors. It was a piece. Transmission blew up with 35k + wiring problems, water leaks, clunks. With 50k it was sold and the sunroof was sagging.
