Heck Fitzee, You taught this 0l man alot of things too. I've been restoring 0l' Model "A's" since back in the late sixties now. and still, building certain projects I like. I am building right now on a 1973 c-60 2-ton truck which is in really good shape for the age. just some minor repairs are needed. BUT, you have shown me several GOOD SHORT CUTs in your videos. I'm trying to watch ALL of the Body Panels Building 0nes to see IF You can Teach this 0l' Man a Trick or Two. You HAVE. And, My HAT is OFF to YOU, SIR

QuickShot says:

The fabrication on this is amazing, however those welds are way way too weak, put on a helmet and actually weld it in you joker, all you’re doing is adding filler metal on top instead of melting the metal together welding it like that, I bet if you unscrewed the screws you could kick the pan out easily.

Rock n Trucks says:

Thanks a ton for this Dude, I'm 18 almost 19, and soon i will have a 1966 chevy caprice for 500 dollars,
Floors are getting bad and the trunk floor is ruined to rot, but it's a nice car over all, and for 500 dollars what could go wrong?

I dont have a welder but I figure a cheap welder with good reviews off Amazon will do the job, and some replacement sectional floor pans and trunk pan too, use a couple grinders we have here at home, all will be good and thanks to you I know generally how to do it thanks

Dlandes 14 says:

What thickness of wheel do you use during the overlap/cut/weld phase?

Gunji Weber says:

Joe Lard says:

Would it be okay to do this with a car on a rotisserie? Or would you prefer the car to be sitting on the frame?
