Hey Scotty, I’m trying to figure out why my car randomly loses power while
driving. It happens at regular intervals (every couple minutes) and when
it does my car slows down to 20 or 30 and then after letting go of the gas
a couple times the power comes back. I’m completely puzzled. Any
suggestions?
Scotty I have a Cherokee 1998. Is the Cam/cranshaft position sensor the
same as throttle position sensor?
I am just curious, my Jeep is running fine so far, but getting close to
150,000 so I want to be prepared.

Hey scotty I wrote u like a month ago with a issue with camshaft sensor on
a 04 sentra I replaced the senaor clear de code but still dies while runnig
and again the code comes back on I replaced 3 times already and still the
samething, do u have an idea of it could be wrong??
the vid says cam-shaft, you keep saying crank-shaft. is that the same

3.1 engine chain broke while driving do i just align the to dots or do i

vibrations ? can i attribute a bad cam sensor to drive time problems
related to extra vibrations or slow excelleration? mine looks like a
magnetic probe it mounts adjacent to the crank pully …… ive done
most of the tune ups wires, plugs, new coil pack, new thermostat and therm
sensors new o2 sensors, clean upper egr new pvc valve cleaned maf, new
alternator and bat, new air charge sensor, ran the laquer increasingly
better all round but seems tracking my vibration down is spry also at cold
starts not gravel but mabe a little grit untill regular running temps and
overall slow exceleration I was going to check oil screen next but the cam
sensor is much easyer he ha 1994 ford exp 4wd its not my 302 from 80
that was as smooth as glass its a german co-op there is a option for block
heater I havnt found one on mine ….there is still the possibility of
manganese and more kerosene
scotty, 1997 Mercedes C230, car will crank but not turn over. Have been
reading online forums and have narrowed possibilities down to immobilizer,
camshaft, or crankshaft. do any of these sound correct? I have also
recently replaced fuel pump/filter and battery. Thanks so much, love the
