The idle learn procedure should be the same.

Question for you — I have a 1996 Lumina; would this be the same for my car too? I see the cut-off for ECM (prior to 1995) and PCM (1995 and newer) and I’m on “the other side,” but my Lumina under the hood seems to look pretty much the same. If so, would there be more detailed programming than learning the idle as you describe? If you can help, I’d sure appreciate it – thank you!

My 93 Regal wouldn’t start, no codes and all components tested ok.

I am so thankful for THIS VIDEO. I have a 1993 Chevy Lumina and this fits my need EXACTLY……………WOW! That don’t happen often………..

JRiley Barnes says:

You do NOT adjust the idle on the 1993 Chevy Lumina 3.1L V6. There is NO adjustment. That is performed by the ECM…which you have replaced…

Can you make a video of how to adjust the idle on this car. My car is running really low idling and has a jerking but it doesn’t really happen when it is higher so I want to try something easy before trying changing something big.
