wouldnt blow no mater what i did, only thing that went wrong was the
tweeter fried 😮
MY SPEAKERS CAM WITH WIRESSS II NEED HELP??? DO I JUST TAKE THE POS. ND NEG
CLIP[ OFF THE WIRES
where you able to put the cover back on over the new speaker or did you
just leave it off?
You really don’t have to remove battery connectors in every application, in
the speakers case, there is no power to them unless the car is in accessory
mode, it may depend on the vehicle, but in a lot of older vehicles it
really doesn’t make a difference.
Even though the video was posted 2 years ago, and people are still
commenting on what the song is, im gonna tell you now that it was, Summer
Holiday – Cliff Richard
I know its been a while since this comment but its Coldplay-Yellow
You should crimp the connectors to the end of the wires. the way you have
it in there now isn’t right
@TheDataZoo Coldplay “Yellow”
You don’t need to disconnect the battery for a speaker…. If the head unit
is off then there is ZERO power going through them.
kid you forgot to tell them to disconnect the minus pool on the battery 😀
not bad…20 bucks for speakers, had mine for like i think a year?..yeah.
My other brand new speakers blew out already so im putting these bac in
till i get better ones.
@TheDataZoo Coldplay – yellow, Think thats the song mate.
sshhhpeaker
funny i got the sameones at watmart for 20 and only one worked so i just
take them back and pay 20 more and got the sony 4 ways
whats the name of the speakers that you have??
Any time you work with the electrical system in the car, you should
disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Doing so prevents possible
shorts while you’re working that can cause blown fuses, damaged devices, or
even trigger the airbags in some older vehicles.
I believe it is yellow by coldplay
yellow by cold play.
Good Tip: Disconnect the battery and DO NOT cut the POS and NEG wires at
the same time. The cutters will blow the wiring and fuses in your car. Just
my .02
3:24 SONG? it leaves my mind atm D:
@TheDataZoo : no idea….to test the speakers, I turned on the radio to
some random station
Updated written instructions in the description to include this….thanks!
How did you learn how to do this ??…i think it’s kinda sexy for a female
to know a lil’ bit bout cars …and you got pretty hands too lol
I had these speakers in my 95 Nissan pathfinder in the back ceiling Nd they
suck just orderd some nice 6 by 9 inch kickers to replace them
@iCANjumpHIGHER I was able to get the covers off by sliding them towards
the front of the car and lifting up. If you are sitting in the back seat,
pull them towards you without lifting them until it stops moving forward,
them pull up.
Are you talking about the clip that’s attached to the wires leading to the
car? If yes, go ahead and snip that off. When I initially got the speakers,
I tried to take the clip off the OEM speakers to put on the new speakers,
and was unsuccessful (results may vary from car to car).
Great video! This video is really explains everything not like those videos
with stupid morons so called “professionals”.
I cant figure out how to get the covers off. i have a 2001 Chevy Malibu and
they seem really stuck in place
The ones that I installed I didn’t have wire harness clips for, hence,
which is why I cut and taped the OEM wires (if you take it to a shop, they
will cut the wires, too, in order to install new speakers). I viewed this
as a risk worth taking since both speakers were dead, and cutting the wires
would have no change in the quality of the audio (heh heh).
@bjb111 I was able to put the covers back over the speakers, however, they
are no longer flush with the back part of the car since the center tweeters
are slightly raised up. There is no effect on the sound, however.
@ORourkeConor -meh, I was looking for a fast way to get sound in my car –
eventually I’ll need to fix it
and at this point 1:25…ZZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZap!!!
