Oh yes indeed. Stupid hurricane! Pretty much so, the season is ended, but restoration and fixing projects are inside now more or less. Just a few cars to be polished and prepped for storage, then shuffled around, and that vast wasteland called winter will take over for a while.
Off Topic: as you already may or may not have noticed, we got hit by Sandy. I hope she does not deter your end of season auto restoration projects!
I actually think it had one good vent wing , had a good (needed chromed ) front bumper that I snagged for a spare too …
I have played the the Power Ball , no such luck ;( check your Email for goodies 😉
One always hears stories like this. The parts car found was actually sitting not 5 miles if that even from my friend’s place since 1972. One never knows what may be found in a back yard a stone’s (or BB!) throw from your door. 15 years for you to find one? And with that it was the only good piece of glass in the car? Time to pick Power Ball Lottery numbers!
I found a perfect original windshield for mine , only took me 15 years , and the funny part is all the rest of the glass in the car that it came from had been shot with a bb gun , but for some reason the what I assume were kids spared the windshield for me and trashed the rest of the rusted mess ha ha ha
