hi, the digits on my nissan 06 altima odometer are half missing. could it

thanks. I have another question. where does the airbag control module
located on the altima 06? My steering wheel airbag deployed and I’ve
already replaced but I still need to reset the srs module and I don’t know
where’s located. thanks a lot and looking forward to hear from you.
Wow that’s odd. I would take the cluster out as shown here and see if you
can take the front shielding off. Should just snap back on.

@LvinC Pretty sure they are the same. I looked at that, I don’t think you
can change it. I’m sure someone out there is more clever than I and figured
it out though.

@cagonesss From what I can tell it’s not hard, just time consuming. 1200
doesn’t surprise me for all the mounts. You will need to unbolt the motor
and support it with jacks/jackstand.

altima 4 cyl? why would the dealer wanna charge 1200 just to replace motor
mounts?is it hard or are they easy to replace?

Hey I have a question for you. What bulbs do you use to light up the
speedometer? And its there only one? I think its the 194 but idk what base,

where can i find the video were you take apart the instrument cluster, and
do you think it’s possible to change the light bulbs so that you get a
different color backlight (such as Blue) then the Amber that it normally
has?
@QUICKLIST129 I’ve never done it. I believe you pop off the panels on both
sides of the head unit and there are 4 bolts holding the deck in..
It depends on the vehicle really. On most it’s not really plug and play. It
will work but will need programmed with the correct mileage and so on.
Typically a dealer will get a reading from the ECU and program the new
cluster to match the ECU.

Not sure actually. Good question. I think it’s near the Tranny control
module but I haven’t looked. The tranny control module should be to the
left of the ECU
Yes, the ECU does. The tranny ecm may have some info as well. It would be
nice if the dealers actually check that info but they don’t. At least
around here.

@Johnnysshop just another quick question. i have a 06 model and im not sure
if they are the same in the cluster bulbs. but the only bulb thats able to
come out its the high beams bulb, i ended up taking the needles out and
thought the bulbs where under the gauge face but all i seen was little
white small LED attached to the green face plate, and i think its not
possible to change the LED color bulbs RIGHT>?? or is there a way to change
it , I am looking to customize the cluster.!!
