@superhawkn Not too bad, I’ve done worse. On my 99 Dakota I had to reach
through the pasenger wheel well to loosen the filter, then climb underneath
to unscrew it the rest of the way while oil spilled all over the frame.
Coolant I’m doing this summer, the spark plugs sometime later, need to
double check last time I did those.
Whenever you get a chance please change your spark plugs and coolant and
post it on youtube since your a pretty good mechanic. Thanks for the video.

I normally just take the plate off. Makes oil cleanup a lot quicker and
simpler.
Yep, oh wait, my camera man (who is black) is the one who made the
statement “so easy a woman can do it.” But yes, I alienated everyone who
isn’t male and white, and if you paid attention, I also told him to cool it
with those comments, but yes, I’m an asshole.
@JayzBeerz I change it once a year, with Amsoil it’s every 15,000 to 25,000
or one year.
I heard it, but with a name like Caveman I think it’s to be expected. I had
to horse the damn oil filter off my Nissan, why the hell did it seem like a
good idea for them to put something that needs regular maintenance behind
all that stuff? No room for a filter wrench, nearly broke my hand…

Unbelievable. I can change 1966 GMC truck filter w/o ramp w/o spilling a
drop. Fast forward 4 decades and this is where we land?
at 5:35 mark I’m thinking that truck gets nastier & nastier the more times
you change the oil like that,,,why not just take the skid plate off then? I
just bought a 2006 model. I have not need to change oil my self yet. After
seeing this I may relocate filter if I can.
@zash008 I try to clean up as well as I can, plenty of rags help. I picked
up my dual remote filter kit, this spring I’ll install that one.
