The process to install the mirror is as follows.

1. Remove cover cap on mirror assembly on the inside of the vehicle.

2. Remove side view mirror bolt nuts.

3. Undue the side view mirror wiring harness.

4. Remove side view mirror.

5. Install replacement mirror. Do not over tighten the bolts on the mirror. If you over tighten the bolts, the bolt will strip out of the plastic form of the mirror.

6. Replace the plastic cover on the inside of the vehicle.
Review:
The mirror is easy to install. Position motors work properly in all directions. Operation is smooth and quiet. In fact, the OEM mirror made a nasty “popping” sound when it reaches the adjustment limit, this one is quiet, simply stops at the limit. The assembly comes with a black cover, but I was able to reuse my original silver cover. Fits just fine, there’s no obvious gaps. It’s slightly convex to give you a wider field of view, at expense of making objects look smaller and farther away than they really are (just like OEM mirrors). Overall quality is excellent. I use the adjustment function a lot, especially to take a quick look at the curb when parking.
