Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

If your local, bring it by, we will post the video, Longwood, Fl.

Craig Allen says:

This was a GREAT help! I don’t think I could have figured out all of this
by myself. I used their services – linked from Ebay – and the repair
worked. Turnaround was quick. Grateful to OEM/Family Car for their
business. I also fixed my gearshift illumination light when I was in there
— for a twofer.

Jose Cruz says:

I wish you could upload the same video for a 2007 Nissan Quest

raidercann1 says:

i have to do a install on this rig and what a hole bunch of crap for a
headunit lol great vid

jenh47 says:

Very nice and most helpful video. I have been trying to get my radio out
but never realized that the glove box and the panels on the driver’s side
had to be removed. Now I will get that darn thing out !

V Fitzgerald says:

do you have a video for 2008 quest?

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

If your local, bring it by and we will get the video, no charge. Longwood,
Fl.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

This is a repair issue we see common here in shop. However, we do no
aftermarket installation. See several of your local installation shops for
their opinion.

Amanda Bentley says:

My radio started popping and making loud shreiking noises and now nothing,
just as you described in the video. What can I do to fix this?

Rich Schnippel says:

I have an 05′ Quest…the radio suddenly was working intermittently…now
it has quit working completely. Not a fuse…would guess it is internal. Is
this something you can repair…do you have an approximate cost if I were
to ship it to you? Where do I find your shipping information?

Alana Higgins says:

Right now I’m driving around with my sons’s Lego clock/radio for music. It
annoys the fire out of me!

markmauney says:

The AM works pretty good on our ’04 Quest – but it loses its mind
occasionally (forgets presets, pops, or goes silent) All pretty
infrequently – but I know the end is probably near. Think I’ll pick up a
spare from a U-Pull-It. And cross my fingers.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

See the link to “Shipping” on our website for repair.

Sam Ash says:

Thank you very much for this video, it’s very helpful. Keep up the good
work!

Jaque Michels says:

Hi, the stereo in my car doesn’t work anymore, I would like to replace it
but I want pionner brand. Is this possible? What will I need? thanks

Alana Higgins says:

I was told by two different businesses that they can’t do an aftermarket
cause of the way the radio is set up. Mine broke months ago. Now it will
sometimes make this noise like the CD part is searching for a cd. If you
hit the side of the console (by the cd deck) it will eventually stop. I
contacted Nissan about this issue since they knew about it a few months
after the quest was released and they refuse to do anything. I will never
buy Nissan again.

Denis Cortez says:

Is there anyway of putting an aftermarket radio in this van. My cd player
stopped working and I would like to put an aftermarket radio.

yaneli2000 says:

Guys buy Toyota never fails never brakes down I have 2004 Toyota 4 runner
almost 10 years never have brake

lsdka24 says:

thank you very helpful!

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Never installed aftermarket in this vehicle. My guess would be you loose
the stereo on the display and steering wheel controls.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Cost for repair ranges depending on single or 6CD changer, $125-295 plus
return shipping with a one year warranty. See the link to “SHIPPING” at our
website before sending for repair. Thank you.

Jess G Ortega says:

This video was very helpful. I am just curious if the little connector in
the back of the CD player needs to be wired to something else because the
adapter kit I have doesn’t have a place for those wires..

jamlinc says:

I own a 2004 Nissan Quest. The first nine minutes of this video are helpful
to anyone who needs to remove the console for any other reason. I did not
find your video until after the fact but I had to replace the shift lock
solenoid and this video would have diffiently helped me. FYI – if you are
going to replace your SLS you better learn how to repin a wiring harness
first.

Rebelatian1 says:

That’s some BS just to get to a radio…too much hassle.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

This is a stereo we repair, see our shipping page on our website,
CarStereoHelp(dot)com.

aaronabshire72 says:

All u need if ur cd player stopped working is to go to radioshack or order
one online for like 4 bucks, its a rca to headphone cable, you hook it up
into the rca output on the dvd player on the side of the passenger seat
base and press and hold the dvd player button on the dash, when the dash
display says dvd, reach down to the dvd player and press a button called
MODE ( I will correct my self if im wronge on the button name) but now you
will have a audio input for ur nissan quest:)

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Sorry, we do not do sales of aftermarket equipment. Only repair of the
factory system.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

This is a common problem for this stereo. There is a chance we are able to
repair this one. Normally, the micro processor goes bad along with 5 or 6
resistor packs. The processor if defective, is not available in the USA.
You may want to look for a replacement.

rblaster says:

Thank you for this helpful video. Do you hear from people that have had AM
reception problems only? The AM cuts in and out, especially with vibrations
like rough road surfaces (I’m an electronics engineer, and it’s not just
your typical AM reception issues), while the FM is fine. My guess was a
loose ground of some kind since the antenna connection must be OK with FM
working 100%. Any suggestions? If not, at least now I know how to pull it
out and maybe try another unit. Thanks –
