Nissan Oil Leak – Replace Oil Cooler O Ring Gasket

Nissan Oil Leak – Replace Oil Cooler O Ring Gasket

This repair is for a 2004 Nissan Quest, but it will apply to many Nissan vehicles with a VQ35 engine. It seems to start leaking just over 100000miles.

top notch. Same thing happening on my 04 Maxima. Thanks for the vid!

B.N. Dunn says:

Great video man. I heard a hissing sound coming from my 2004 Nissan quest
and when I checked, there was oil all over specially under the filter, but
I could not see where. Now I see that it could be on the back. And the
hissing could be that the belt was getting oil when rotating right?

Thanks! I think this is the source of an oil leak on my 2006 nissan murano.
Have you heard of muranos having this same issue? Going to try to replace
this soon and ill let you know if it solves the issue.

Blk Apache says:

Hey, will this work for a 2002 Nissan Xterra 3.3 V6 ? I’m having the same
issue. Started after my last oil change.

Sweet tutorial. Great filming.

Tyler Nelson says:

How long did this take you from start to finish?

Chris Swain says:

You rock. First your video helped me change my wheel bearing assembly on my
2008 Nissan Quest. Now you are going to help me replace my oil cooler O
ring. Thank You! I wish YouTube had a donate button so I could thank you
with money!

Mike Lampe says:

I did this a couple weeks ago on my 2004 Altima 3.5 SE using another
YouTube video. Your video is clearer and well-produced. How did you you
get the service manual?

Matt Power says:

Thank you
