Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

NO AUDIO – the most common problem with this stereo! Blown power supply in stereo because of COINS. See the link to our website for repair.

f cubbie says:

My radio work and the Cd player works however there is no sound can you tell me what I can do to fix this?

Varun Chandra says:

All I had to do was to shake the stereo a few times. Tape opening facing down. Turns out the stereo was fried. I used a remanufactured unit for $350 from the dealer.

Phillip segree says:

can u show how to remove coins?

Varun Chandra says:

Plugged it back in and the car started.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Maybe the battery went dead? Or, was the vehicle in Park? Did you plug it back in to check?

Varun Chandra says:

I have the same issue and I was going to send you my stereo. I was able to remove the stereo using your directions, thanks. However, the car wont start without the stereo! Not using the car for 7-10 days is not an option. I will use the dealer’s exchange – $350 for a refurb unit with a 12 month warranty. Apparently Nissan has been working with Bose and Clarion to refurb units as they have had many of these come through. A new unit is $1,500! The 75 cents my son dropped just cost be a bundle!

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Remove the cover and shake them out. If there is any damage to the stereo because of the coins, it has already been done…

Steven Vanderbeek says:

I would also like to know how to get the coins out..

john waynewonder says:
