Do you know what caused the chain to jump? That’s a rare sight to see that
happen. Belts mostly jump due to low tension, but many good branded timing
belts come with automatic tensioners anyway to reduce this.

even the older engines are just as hard to find down here in the south
trying to figure out where the tensioner bolt is on my march for the alt
belt!

no, the miles was up on this one, just the luck of the draw.just ask the
guys at the breakers, big demand on the CR10 engine.
