James Rock says:

Ur video is so small

Kelly Ford says:

Turn your phone side ways! 16 x 9 aspect ratio is easier to watch.

rsm5594 says:

Woody Wilson is right. Though it is some what tedious, I used a small 10mm
wrench and removed the front coil retaining bolt, and then pulled the spark
plug socket up angled toward the front and it barely cleared the air intake
and came out. Then used the 3 inch extension with a swivel and 10 inch
extension to get the plug out.

Also in reinstalling the coil bolt, I made sure the holes lined up and used
4 inch needle nose pliers to reinsert the bolt because my hand would not
fit in there at all. Then I spent the next 8 minutes using the 10mm wrench
to retighten that bolt.

Also I found it easier to get the passenger side plug closest to the
firewall out by first moving the big harness out of the way that goes over
the coil, and also removed the tube going to the air intake manifold over
it.

I miss the days when changing spark plugs was a 10 minute job. But I do
not miss having to change spark plugs every 12,000 miles.

D Noel says:

Anything new on this? Im about to get new plugs. Probably bosch +4s. Banks
exhaust, k&n intake, and superchips. Hopefully it all works together. Do
you know what size sockets you needed?

MrMadbrowncow says:

It is a drive by wire must do a relearn for idle after touching throttle.

massey706 says:

Yea my mpg went up but only by 4-5 miles but there was also a big jump in
the sensitivity on the throttle… But yea that 6th one is tricky I had to
take off the engine covers off and the intake system to get it out, but
it’s worth it haha

Woody Wilson says:

It’s amazing what you can do with the right tools. I did not remove any
part of the air intake. I used a stubby 10MM closed end wrench to access
the coil hold down bolt. It’s a little tricky, but with some patience you
can get it off. Pulled the coil forward and out of the hole. dropped a 5/8
spark plug socket with a 3 inch extension and swivel joint attached into
the hole. Then took a 10 inch extension and connected to swivel joint.
Proceeded to get the plug out with no problem!

John Darby says:

the video say “Spark plug change” but doesn’ t show you how to. All he does
is walk around his truck BSing for 10 mins. Save 10 mins of your life and
DON’T watch this video.

Tony Garza says:

I know you sold your nissan already but can you still tell me what spark
plugs you installed so I can get the same increase on mpg. Thanks for the
video!

madden88 says:

You probably never owned a silverado or even an f150 Buy american you douche

tu2 says:

I own a 2006 (AT) Crew Cab with the K&N intake. Before I was getting about
17-18 MPG in the city, but after installing the Banks Monster exhaust my
MPG went down to about 15. Intake and exhaust performs good and sounds like
a beast, but losing the MPG kinda sucks. Got some Bosch Platinum +4’s, but
haven’t had a chance to replace them yet because its hard to get that 6th
one, but I’m hoping changing them out will improve my MPG some? Did you get
any MPG gains after replacing the plugs?

massey706 says:

Lol yea that left side takes a while… Unfortunately we traded our in for
a Mercedes C350 Sports Sedan lol but those Nissan’s are bulletproof

massey706 says:

I used to work at a tire shop in Idaho, all of our service trucks were GM,
they kept breaking down until we switched em out with F-150’s

massey706 says:

well i would love to make a better revised version of this… but traded it
in for a Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport Sedan, so if you would like a video
review of our new car, just comment below and ill upload one

massey706 says:

Yea it was 5/8″ sockets for the plugs

breezebro says:

Worst video I’ve ever seen on YT.

Lance Inla says:

Bad quality video and too much talking NON SENSE!!!

michael says:

my old Chevy was made in Mexico and my new NISSAN truck was made in
Tennessee… YOU go BUY AMERICAN MADDEN88

jaypeeoner says:

I just changed them on my 06 frontier @70,330 miles. It took me 2 hrs &
that’s also cleaning throttle body really good. You don’t have to
disconnect anything besides the battery till your done. I just took of all
the bolts to intake manifold, gave me enough room to get the socket & my
hand to take out spark plugs out.

Kristofer McKinnon says:

We have a 2005 Nissan Frontier, 6 speed manual, with V6. If you are losing
power and check engine light keeps coming on…we had to replace the MAP
sensor…only costed about 175 bucks…but the dealership was trying to
charge us about 800. Simple job to do yourself, just have to unplug some
wires and plug them back up.
